Richard Beringer
Michael was a very close friend who I never met. We shared our lives nearly every day through an internet game over the past three years. I would even go as far as to say we became best friends. I learned of his life and his family over the years and feel as close to him as any of my RL friends. Needless to say, he was a great gamer but as a couple of guys in our 60s we shared many similar view points and I am glad I was there for him right up to the end. I know he can rest easy knowing he laid a great foundation for his family. He was very proud of his family and it is with them a leave my most sincere condolences.
